Chocolate Cake with No Animal Products

 Crazy Cake

This cake is a cross between Chocolate Brownies and Chocolate Cake.  We loved it.

Most chocolate cake achieve texture and moisture by using eggs, milk, and butter. These are animal products are known allergens for some people.  This recipe is for those  people who are averse to consuming these products.

Indgredients

1 1/2 cups flour (all-purpose)

3 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp.  salt

1 tsp. white vinegar

1 tsp.  pure vanilla extract

5 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 cup water

Mix first 5 dry ingredients

In a separate bowl mix vinegar, vanilla, vegetable oil and water.  Add wet ingredients to dry.  Mix well until smooth. Pour in a greased

8" square baking pan.  Bake 350 degree on middle rack of a pre-heated oven for 35 minutes.  Check with a toothpick to make sure it comes out clean.
