I am Linda's husband, Alan.  I started judging Kansas City BBQ Society,  Florida BBQ Association and North Carolina BBQ Society in 2012.  I have judged over 100 competitions and am a Master KCBS judge and table captain.  

In 2021 I started competing BBQ with KCBS in the Backyard Division.  I have competed more than 100 competitions.

I have multiple Grand Championships and Reserve Grand Championships

Although I started in 2021, my year was cut short to to injury.

My wife, Linda, is my biggest fan.
